What Does the Bible Really Say About the Stars & The Mazzaroth?

In the book of Job—one of the oldest texts in the biblical canon—God Himself speaks directly from the whirlwind, challenging Job with the mechanics of the cosmos: 'Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?' (Job 38:31-32).

The word Mazzaroth (מַזָּרוֹת) refers specifically to the twelve signs of the zodiac and their associated constellations. God does not condemn the Mazzaroth; He claims authorship and sovereignty over it.

Furthermore, when Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, who were the very first human beings to recognize the cosmic timing of His birth? Not the religious scribes in Jerusalem, but the Magi—astronomers and celestial scholars from the East who observed His star in the heavens (Matthew 2:2).

Christian astrology is not about superstition; it is about recognizing the harmony of God's cosmos and understanding that every star was numbered and named by our Heavenly Father (Psalm 147:4).
