Our Mission & Vision

Welcome to ChristianAstrology.org, a dedicated space for researchers, believers, and seekers exploring the profound intersections between Christian faith and historical celestial interpretation.

Our core mission is to study the biblical meanings of the stars, constellations (the Mazzaroth), and heavenly events. We seek to rediscover how the Creator's redemptive plan has been illustrated on the vast canvas of the night sky since the dawn of creation.

"Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years." Genesis 1:14 (NIV)

A Faith-Centered Approach to the Stars

For centuries, the relationship between Christianity and astrological study has been subject to deep theological debate. We approach this field from a perspective of Biblical Astronomy and historical research.

Our work is firmly rooted in the sovereignty of the Creator:

  • We distinguish between modern predictive astrology (fortune-telling) which scripture cautions against, and biblical sign-observance, which acknowledges the heavens as a testament of God's handiwork.
  • We highlight the Mazzarothโ€”the twelve constellations referenced in Job 38:31-32โ€”as a pictorial prophecy of the Gospel, showing the plan of redemption from the Virgin birth (Virgo) to the returning Lion of Judah (Leo).
  • We study the Star of Bethlehem as the ultimate example of a heavenly sign aligning with historical prophecy to guide the Magi to the infant King.

Our Editorial Standards

Every article and calculation on ChristianAstrology.org is produced by a collaborative team of theologians, historians, and researchers. We consult Hebrew linguistic roots, early church histories, and Renaissance texts (such as William Lilly's landmark 1647 work *Christian Astrology*) to ensure historical authenticity and theological accuracy.

We believe that our lives are governed by God's providence and grace, not by passive planetary determinism. The stars do not rule over us; they point us back to the One who rules over the stars.
